Jim

James Steen

Jim's vision is to "create a design firm that combines strategic thinking with creativity." To support that vision, he's assembled a core group of graphic and web designers surrounded by a collaborative team of marketing, public relations and investor relations specialists within an exhilarating work environment. The firm's offices are located at a former Hudson car dealership that brought some of the first cars to Bucks County in the 1920s. Housed within the building is a dynamic art gallery that "keeps us in tune with the emotional side of what we do." (see www.bucksgalleryoffineart.com)

Jim's ability to think creatively and act strategically has allowed him to develop an expertise in a variety of industries, including information technology, retail, health care, real estate, insurance, banking, and education, to name a few. Jim provides design requirements on select accounts, while offering creative guidance and strategic direction on others.

Jim graduated summa cum laude from Rider University with a bachelor of science degree in marketing. He began his career as an account manager with Gillespie Advertising in Princeton, New Jersey. At Gillespie, Jim managed several large accounts, including Berlitz International, DuPont, CoreStates/New Jersey National Bank, and The Gallup Organization. From there he helped create the firm CMA, an association marketing and management firm also in Princeton, prior to founding Acme Design Group in 1994.
